I Alexus Stephens, leave to the band the strength and confidence you granted me in my four years here to further inspire each new members that walks through the band doors . As a final wish, I wish for the band to walk at COC finals again someday, to achieve more goals than ever before and to get better and better with every waking hour. To my beloved clarinet section I leave with you the love and care I’ve given to each member when problems seemed to effect us too much for one to handle. To next years seniors remember to always keep true to yourself no matter the circumstances and remember it is okay to ask for help even as a veteran. This band has more achievements coming to them, I wish you guys the best. I love you guys and there is nothing you can do about it.
I would say there is not one memory that is my favorite, but rather I have favorite moments through out my four years being here in band. Whether it be seeing the chaos unfold during marching season in school, or the chaotic yet calm concert season. We beg and plead for marching season to be done over with yet when the last competition arrives we beg and plead for it to last. When concert season came it was a lot calmer but we never failed to make chaos reappear out of thin air. While I may have never have had my senior concerts happen, senior concerts hold the best memories for me, spending one last time watching my previous seniors perform was an experience and spending time with them one last time will forever be a prominent memory.
