I, Christabell Bond, leave all the hard work, dedication, and leadership to my fellow base line and percussionists. You guys have come so far since the beginning. I know it’s hard and it sucks sometimes but I know you guys can push through and do good things. Hopefully next year competitions will be back to normal. You’ll complain about how much your doing and how bad it is but it’s all worth it in the end. Enjoy the little moments and be grateful you have such good people to call friends and family. You’ll miss it when it’s gone. You guys are so talented and and will make this band greater than it’s ever been. Never give up. I believe in you. I love you all and there’s nothing you can do about it!!
One of my favorite memories was US Bands 2017 (my freshman year). This was my first big competition because Contest of Champions had been canceled that year. I remember seeing all the traditions that the upperclassmen had and wanting to continue those traditions. I remember doing the senior speeches in the locker room and hiding in the lockers. I’m gonna miss the bus rides, the early mornings on comp days, the late night roasting sessions, the rap battles, playing ninja with Mr. Boothe, having races across the marking lot, and just being with all my friends and achieving so much. Being able to do what I love with my “family” was some of the best memories I could ask for.
