Important things to remember when riding on the bus:

--> Remember at all times you are representing Columbia Central High School and the Columbia Central Band.

Bus Trips should be safe and fun. Please be courteous to the bus drivers, chaperones, and each other to ensure that bus rides are fun for everyone!

Bus Rules
  1. Follow the directions of the designated chaperones concerning seating, noise, conduct, and bus regulations.
  2. No excessive noise, no profanity, no throwing items around or out of the bus. Keep talking to within a few rows of your seat. Do NOT SHOUT ACROSS THE BUS OR OUT OF THE WINDOWS.
  3. Remain seated while the bus is in motion
  4. Cell phones MUST be on dim during night trips. Avoid facing phones towards the driver mirrors or above the seat.
  5. The bus MUST be silent at railroad tracks. A person will call "railroad," silence follows.
  6. Clean up after yourselves. Water is preferred, however, if you have drinks they MUST have tops that prevent spilling.  Nothing can be in the bus aisle.
  7. The roll caller will designate 4 to 5 people to clean the bus after every trip. Everyone will do this in rotation throughout the season. No exceptions
  8. All school rules apply. No inappropriate behavior. Drugs, vapes, and alcohol are STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
  9. NO public displays of affection, the bus is a public place at all times.
  10. Failure to comply with these rules will result in suspension and or removal from the CHS band program.
